We are looking back on a difficult but also very exciting year.
After meeting at the Future Energies Hackathon 2019 in Berlin, organized by the Stiftung der Deutschen Wirtschaft and the Innogy Stiftung in December 2019, we decided to revise our idea and develop a new strategy in February 2020.
With our new idea of developing automation technology for vertical farming systems, we started recruiting a team and designing our prototype.
In July 2020, we happily got accepted to take part in the “Create-up” program of the Impact Factory, an initiative of the Beisheim Stiftung, Franz Haniel & Cie. GmbH, KfW Stiftung and Anthropia gGmbH with support of Der Paritätische NRW and the Wilo-Foundation. Here, we were able to further develop our business model, fundraising knowledge, and pitching skills and were able to profit from the great network and community of startups. Furthermore, we became part of the BadenCampus Accelerator in September, where we participated in workshops on fundraising and investor relations and were able to pitch in front of a great audience at the DemoDay. At the same time, our technical team put all their efforts into the development of our prototype, which was successfully tested in November 2020.
We are now preparing for the presentation of our prototype, adding additional features and testing our product with pilot customers, and our first round of funding.
We want to thank you for being part of our journey and are looking forward to taking the next steps together.
For now, we wish you a happy new year and all the best for the year 2021!
